November is here, and I can’t believe it’s already this time of the year again! This year flew by, and was packed with so many changes and experiences.
There is so much to be thankful for that I don’t even think I could write a single post about it. So, other than being extra thankful this month, I have set myself some goals for this lovely fall month.
So, for November…
I hope to keep my glass half full.
There is enough negativity that goes around for all of us, so I really want to focus on being positive in every situation—even the small ones. Positivity is powerful. In my experience, it can change my whole day just by how I look at something. I make choices throughout the whole day of weather or not to look at something in a positive or negative way. The goal is to make the decision to look at the light of the situation this month. Hopefully it goes well and I can carry it on!
Do more of what makes me happy.
Now, I am a super happy person in general, don’t get me wrong. This is more in regards to just the things I personally enjoy, for just myself. Sometimes I get focused on too many things, or so many other people, that I forget about me! My goal of is to set aside a little bit of time each week for myself. I will probably use this time to Read Harry Potter or take a bubble bath with a glass of wine. That sounds great!
Continue to take risks.
Life is all about the risks! This goes along with my last post, but I just think it’s so true. Some times taking risks is scary, especially when it is a life changer. But what if it makes your life 10x better?! Really, how is anything ever going to get better if you don’t take some chances? Believe in yourself and your decisions. As long as you are smart about it and think about what you’re doing, most likely it will turn out well. And if it doesn’t, just hit rewind and forget I said anything!
So those are my goals for the month. I have been thinking about these things a lot lately, so I am sure that is why they are all deep and lifey.
